


Soke C. Scott Gilbert, 7th Dan - Founder & Head Instructor of Savior Martial Arts®
As Founder, Executive Director, and Head Instructor of Savior Martial Arts®, Soke Scott Gilbert brings over 20 years of martial arts training and teaching experience to the academy. Soke Scott holds Black Belt ranking in thirteen traditional styles, 6 of which are at the Master (Shihan) level. As an ordained minister, non-practicing attorney, and gifted teacher, he focuses all his training and talents on honoring the Lord and developing godly leaders through Savior Martial Arts®. In 2003, Soke Scott was recognized by the Zen Kokusai Soke Budo/Bugei Renmei of Okinawa/Japan as a Soke Shodai (1st generation Head Founder) of Chutoku Ryu Karate. Chutoku Ryu Karate is one of the first fully Christian martial arts systems in the world with full Okinawan certification and credentialing. Soke Scott also holds Dojo Headmaster and Shihan appointments in Okinawan Kempo, Goshin Jutsu, and Iaijutsu/Kenjutsu.

Sensei Lynn Gilbert, 3rd Dan - Chief Operating Officer
Sensei Lynn currently holds a 3rd dan in Chutoku Ryu Karate, also other dan degrees in Aikido, Goshin Jutsu, Iaido/Iaijutsu (Sword), and Tai Chi. She is the organization behind the vision. Because of her hard work Savior Martial Arts ® maintains a fantastic professional curricula. Sensei Lynn is the Chief Instructor for the Certified Instructor Training program. She is also the President of Stand Firm, Inc. a personal security and training company that specializes in empowering women and children with personal safety tactics and anti-predator defenses.

Shihan Kim Wright, 4th Dan - Senior Instructor
Shihan Kim Wright holds a Fourth Degree Black Belt. She brings energy and an enthusiastic love for people as both Staff Instructor and Program Manager at Headquarters and Head Instructor at our Deep Creek Baptist satellite location. Her teaching specialties include Lil’ Dragons Faithful Warriors and Aikido.

Sensei Scott Nobles, 3rd Dan - Senior Instructor
Sensei Scott Nobles serves as Chief Instructor at the Western Branch Dojo and London Bridge Baptist Day School program. He is well known for his gift for teaching and bold athleticism.

Sensei Aimee Ballentine, 3rd Dan - Staff Instructor
Sensei Aimee Ballentine, 3rd Dan, has been a long-time student in multiple styles at Savior Martial Arts®. She is well known for the height of her kicks and the kindness of her heart. She serves as a Staff Instructor at the Headquarters Dojo and the Chief Instructor at the Great Neck satellite location.

Sensei Pamela Copeland, 3rd Dan - Staff Instructor
Sensei Pamela Copeland holds a Third Degree Black Belt. She brings years of professional teaching experience to her position as Chief Instructor of our Tai Chi program. Known for her attention to detail and gentle teaching style, she is an ideal instructor for this style.
