Lil’ Dragons Faithful Warriors is a very high energy, God honoring program that introduces 4, 5, and 6 year olds to the world of martial arts. Focused on fun, the Lil’ Dragons curriculum teaches not only beginning martial arts techniques and concepts, but also fundamental Biblical principles, personal and home safety, and basic life skills appropriate for this age group.
We have taken the classic Chutoku Ryu Karate curriculum and broken it down into smaller stages that very young students can master. Lil’ Dragons uses a traditional 9 belt advancement system. Students test every 2–3 months to gauge their progress and advance to the next rank. In addition to the special Lil’ Dragons belts, we include games and incentives (stickers, patches, belt stripes, etc.) to motivate and reward each child’s progress. This program is designed to take about 18-24 months to complete. Students who graduate with the Lil’ Dragons Black Belt may automatically enter the classic Chutoku Ryu Karate program at the orange belt level.
